The Johnston County Parade of Homes 2011 is gearing up to be a great one. The Parade of Homes in Johnston County will take place April 8Th, 9Th, 10Th,and April 15Th 16Th,17Th. There will be some beautiful homes to see in all price ranges. Johnston County, North Carolina has some of the best builders, the best schools, the most affordable land and is only minutes from Raleigh the state capital.
The Parade of Homes in Johnston County is held in the spring, the traditional buying season and after the weather the northern states received this year, spring in North Carolina is going to look like heaven. The number of homes is manageable this year and so it will allow folks to actually see all the entries, weather permitting it is a fun day, even if you are not ready to buy a new house, it is good to see what the latest trends in home building, design, appliances are.
This year the Parade Committee, of which I am a member oversaw major changes to
marketing the Parade, gone are the big books and instead, there will be inserts in the local papers, an insert in The Real Estate Book, and then it gets hi-tec, with QR Codes, apps for the iPhone, Droid, website, Twitter, Facebook, Blogging. So now when you are driving around you will be able to pull up a map, get descriptions of the homes, pricing, features etc.
