New Homes Started in Portofino’s Newest Neighborhood

Portofino’s newest neighborhood Churchill, has begun with three new homes started. JordanBuilt Homes one of the area’s best builders have started on their first of three homes they have chosen to build in Portofino. The homes will be custom built with the same attention to detail given to alll the the homes in Portofino and the same appreciation for the beauty of the land here.

The first three homes will be in the $300,000 price range and will have such features as hardwood/tile floors, hardi-plank siding and stone accents. Granite counter tops and trim work. The lot sizes are.58,.68 and .87  and as with most of the lots in Portofino there are trees and privacy that come with these lots. The road into Churchill is magnificent as it winds down through the trees and over the creeks, past the future fire pit and picnic area. There are only 66 lots available in the new phase in Portofino, the first thirty which are now started and then the remaining lots are closer to the horse facility aand some offer spectacular views of the show rings and luxurious barn. Some of these lots have a premium  and we have already sold one. The idea of being able to watch horses and riders at any time of the day is a dream home for a lot of people.

Portofino is considered one of the premium neighborhoods in The Triangle because of the amenities it offers, the almost seven miles of nature trails that lead to the river where the canoe launch will give people access to the Neuse a popular river for kayaks and canoes. The beautiful clubhouse and piazza where residents can relax in the evening with an outdoor fireplace, the  european styled terra cotta  roof of the clubhouse and the glorious old oak trees which are lighted as is the salt water pool. The zero entry salt waater pool is open from the first warm days of Spring to the first cold days of Fall and it is a wonderful place to spend a day. There are changing rooms (with granite countertops) showers, a cabana with fans, Wi -Fi seating and umbfrellas.
